Chapter Meeting:

Even the most technical presentations can benefit from the use of a well told story. This session teaches storytelling fundamentals and offers the opportunity to practice techniques live! You will leave with a story you can use in your presentations.

Format:
This session is a mix of lecture, small partner activities, and group discussions/examples.

Facilitator: Paul Artale

Speaking and presentation coach Paul Artale brings years of speaking experience to the table. From facilitating leadership seminars to speech competitions to delivering impactful keynotes, Paul has a rich and varied speaking portfolio. Based on his life experience, Paul's keynote "Hit! Hard!" has inspired companies, schools, and community groups across North America.

Learning Objectives - Attendees will learn how to:

Utilize three techniques to make stories relatable to any audience.
Create a story bank in order to find stories, anecdotes and lessons that enhance presentations.
Understand the basic elements of speech structure and story plot.

Registrations are not considered definite or confirmed until payment has been submitted.

Cancellations & Refunds:

Cancellations will be accepted until 5 pm on Friday, September 26.

Cancellations received prior to this time/date should be requested in writing and sent to finance@a2astd.org.
Refunds will be issued either (1) by check (less a $5 processing fee) and will be mailed to the address on file or (2) transferred to the next scheduled A2ASTD meeting date.

Refunds after Friday, September 26 at 5 pm cannot be issued, but we will gladly accept a substitution should you wish to send someone in your place.
