Tech Night

Webcasts, Videoconferencing, and eLearning

In today's global business world, it's more important than ever to know how to use online tools to enhance not only your training and development projects but your everyday work activities. Learn more about three powerful online tools - WebEx, Google+ Hangouts and Articulate Storyline - in a low-key and interactive setting.

Format: Interactive Demonstration Stations

Work stations will be set up around the room for participants to view, interact with and learn from technology facilitators.

Learning Objectives:

Discover the capabilities of: WebEx (a fee-based web conferencing service); Google+ Hangouts (a free videoconferencing and desktop sharing tool) and Articulate Storyline (an e-Learning authoring tool with a dizzying array of options).
Learn the basics of how to use these tools.
Take away new ideas for integrating these tools into your training and development programs.

Demonstrations by:

A2ASTD Board Members and Instructional Designers from Torrance Learning.

5:20 - 5:35 pm Welcome & Introductions

5:35 - 6:45 pm Interactive Demonstration Stations

6:45 - 7:00 pm Learning Wrap Up & Meeting Close

Non-member guests = $40 (Join now and save up to $25!)

Registrations are not considered definite or confirmed until payment has been submitted.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations will be accepted until 5 pm on Friday, January 3.

Cancellations received prior to this time/date should be requested in writing and sent to finance@a2astd.org
Refunds will be issued either (1) by check (less a $5 processing fee) and will be mailed to the address on file or (2) transferred to the next scheduled A2ASTD meeting date.

Refunds after January 3rd cannot be issued, but we will gladly accept a substitution should you wish to send someone in your place.
