The #1 Reason Your Projects are Failing and What to do About it!
with speaker Jen Laidlaw, TeamWerks Talent Development & Consulting
Thursday Sep. 4th, 5:30 - 8:00 PM
at Washtenaw Community College
According to the 2024 statistics from the Project Management Institute (PMI), >50% of projects are either challenged or flat out fail. Despite PM's best efforts in scoping, planning, implementation, and risk and change management, there's still lots of room to improve! So So why are so many projects unsuccessful?
Join us for a workshop on how to increase the odds of making your project a success by making better use of your project kick-off meeting.
If you do project work of any kind, this session will help you greatly increase the odds that your project will be on time, on budget, and much more enjoyable! We'll work together to:
-
Understand the key things preventing projects from being successful
-
Learn and practice a method for kicking-off projects that makes the most difference to project success
-
Discuss variations of the project kick-off method to use for projects at your business
