MEET THE SPEAKER
Seema Patel is a leader with 30 years of training, educating, mentoring, facilitating and a variety of leadership experiences in the healthcare industry.
Currently she is a Program Manager III in Quality Improvement with responsibilities in the Accreditation and Quality space at Buckeye Health Plan. She also leads as a Co-Chair for the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council. Her past roles were in the Population Health Clinical Outcomes area as a Supervisor in Case Management, Supervisor of Training, and Senior Trainer onboarding new hire staff. She also currently serves as the DEI Council Chair.
Some of her past experiences includes being a Training Manager for Sarnova, a medical sales and distribution company, where she helped create, facilitate, and manage the New Hire Onboarding Training Program, a Clinical Educator for American Home Patient, a durable medical equipment company as well as a Homecare Manager and Respiratory Therapist at Memorial Hospital of Union County.
Outside of her work roles, she has been an active member of Central Ohio Association for Talent & Development (COATD) for almost 6 years. She currently sits on COATD’s Board as President. Additionally, she also serves as a board member for SAPNO (South Asian Professional Network Organization), is an active member of the Human Resource Association of Central Ohio and recently joined the Central Ohio Diversity Consortium. She has been in the public speaking space for many years.
