Debra Levantrosser is the founder and lead adviser of Arbed Solutions, a company dedicated to helping and teaching businesses to make positive, Lean changes to their work. She is also co-founder and vice chair of the Michigan Lean Consortium, an organization utilizing Lean principles statewide to help rebuild the state’s economy. With over 20 years of professional Lean experience, Levantrosser has lead over 300 kaizen events, nearly 75 Lean assessments and helped to identify over $6 billion in savings. She has used the Lean philosophy in health care, manufacturing, law enforcement, insurance, interior design, construction and consulting in over 50 countries. Most recently, Levantrosser worked as the change integration leader of J&J’s Supply Chain organization responsible for the change process inherent in the recent effort to bring together 45,000 J&J supply chain associates to work towards a common purpose. Levantrosser was on Governor Granholm’s (D-MI) Government Process improvement initiative committee from 2007-2009 incorporating Lean principles to streamline state government; is assisting Governor Snyder’s administration with the ‘good government’ transformation; is on the Advisory Board of the School of Management at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY; and is on the Board of Oakland University’s Pawley Lean Institute. She has been a vegan for 22 years and lives in South Lyon with her three dogs.
