Join us for this informative one hour meeting where facilitator Jerry Kaminski will provide an overview of what you will learn when you attend his upcoming workshops on how to submit an ATD BEST application! During this information session you'll have the opportunity to ask Jerry questions about the program, and get a preview of what the cohort experience entails.
The BEST Award is an annual award that was established in 2003 and recognizes organizations that demonstrate enterprise-wide success or achievement as a result of talent development.

About the Presenter:
Name: Jerry Kaminski, CPT, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CSSGB
Title: Manager, Learning & Development-Instructional Design, Consumers Energy
Bio: Jerry leads the instructional design team and vendor management at Consumers Energy. He has over thirty-five years of talent and organizational development experience in a multitude of industries including information technology, retail, government, consulting, automotive and currently, energy utilities. Jerry started his career as an anti-submarine warfare technician in the US Navy, moving from that role to instructor, and ultimately a program development director for the learning command. He has also held positions including instructional designer, e-learning manager, learning architect and Chief Learning Officer. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in instructional design from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and Wayne State University, respectively. He also holds certification as a Certified Performance Technologist (CPT-ISPI), SPHR, SHRM-SCP and CSSGB. He is a five-time winner of ATD’s BEST award, past ATD Forum Advisory Group chairperson, and member of the ATD Public Policy Committee. In addition, Jerry has been a judge of the Chief Learning Officer Learning Elite awards since 2016 and is also author of two chapters of the ATD Forum book “Leading the Learning Function”. His chapters cover front-end analysis and use of technology in the learning function. In his spare time, he can be found sailing or working on his 100-year old home.
