Job Insecurity is a Reality: What You Can Do Right Now to Make Your Career More Recession-Proof

The pandemic and related shutdowns have triggered furloughs and reductions across many industries. Join ATD and Lisa Pasbjerg as Lisa discusses how to recession-proof your career. Lisa will touch on topics such as the importance of self-branding, networking, and reimagining your career so that you can make YOUR career more recession-proof!

In this session, we will:

Provide specific examples of steps participants can take to make their career more recession- proof.
Decrease aniety about participants own experience of job-insecurity.
Include tips and techniques to connect with others and network now (with the limitiations of the current COVID environment.
Provide "to-dos" and "not-to-dos" for developing strng, diverse and positive networks

Cancellations & Refunds:

Cancellations will be accepted until 5 pm the Friday before the event

Cancellations received prior to this time/date should be requested in writing and sent to finance@a2atd.org.
Refunds will be issued either via original payment or transferred to the next scheduled A2ATD meeting date.
Refunds after 5 pm the Friday before the event cannot be issued, but we will gladly accept a substitution should you wish to send someone in your place.

About the Presenter:

Lisa Pasbjerg is founder and principal of Focused Coaching, LLC based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her own professional experience spans over 20 years and includes leadership roles in both the for-profit and the not-for-profit sectors, including those both domestic and international in scope.
