Why Open Book Management
Zingerman’s approach to our finances, Open Book Management, is a solid, ethically-oriented program designed to help manage through all kinds of economic circumstances, reduce leadership stress and get the whole team on board to make financial success an activity everyone participates in.
Presented by Elnian Gilbert from ZingTrain. http://www.zingtrain.com
Elnian is a native of the Ann Arbor area and began working in the service industry while still in high school. Through her varied experiences working for a flooring company, a small old-fashioned ice cream parlor, a college bookstore, the Nature Conservancy, and more, Elnian has developed an appreciation of, and commitment to, outstanding customer service. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Marketing and returned to Ann Arbor to work for the University of Michigan doing alumni relations, fundraising, and event planning.
In the autumn of 2006, Elnian joined Zingerman’s Mail Order as seasonal, temporary help and loved it so much that she looked for opportunities to stay in the Zingerman’s Community of Businesses once the holidays were over. When a part-time position at ZingTrain opened up, she jumped at the opportunity, splitting her time between Mail Order and ZingTrain until she joined ZingTrain full time in the fall of 2007.
Elnian specializes in Zingerman’s approach to customer service, teaching internal classes, ZingTrain's 2-day seminars, and workshops for clients all over the country.
