Integrating Adult Development into Talent Management Initiatives

Leaders live in a time of unprecedented change and solutions aren’t always obvious. Volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA) are lurking at every corner. To thrive in this complex world, leader’s need support in advancing their thinking capabilities. This session will provide practical frameworks and resources on how to develop VUCA skills in your leaders.

At the end of this session, attendees will be able to:

Understand the difference between horizontal (what you know and capabilities, i.e. competencies) and vertical (how you know, i.e. adult development levels)
Understand why vertical is critical for developing Leaders to manage volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA)
Review the various adult development tools to integrate into talent offerings

Cancellations & Refunds:

Cancellations will be accepted until 5 pm on Friday, November 1

Cancellations received prior to this time/date should be requested in writing and sent to finance@a2atd.org.
Refunds will be issued either (1) by check (less a $5 processing fee) and will be mailed to the address on file or (2) transferred to the next scheduled A2ATD meeting date.
Refunds after Friday, November 1 at 5 pm cannot be issued, but we will gladly accept a substitution should you wish to send someone in your place.

About the Presenter:

Becky Andree has provided coaching and development to leaders in global corporations in a variety of industries including manufacturing, banking, insurance, retail, and IT. Becky has 20+ years of designing and deploying global leadership programs focused on the integration of horizontal and vertical development. Her leadership development programs have been translated into 13 languages, delivered in 19 countries to over 9,000 leaders and are currently still being used in two Fortune 500 companies.
