In this session, we’ll explore how to design immersive, memorable, educational (and fun!) active learning experiences. Experiences that captivate learners, get them engaged, and increase retention. These experiences can frequently augment – and in some cases replace – the increasingly ineffective passive learning approaches that are the basis of most traditional training programs.

In this interactive session (which exemplifies its own principles), you’ll learn to:

• Design powerful training experiences to create learner anticipation before, engage them during, and reinforce lessons long after the experience.
• Hit the active learning “sweet spot” by designing learning interactions that incorporate the four characteristics of engaging experiences.  
• Apply 5 best principles (not best practices) for engaging learners and keep their attention
