TIME: 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Have a blast planning your next learning project or event!
We work too long and hard to not get some enjoyment out of what we do. Tonya Thomas, seasoned educator, designer, learning leader, and productivity guru, shows us how to do just that with Trello. Trello is a fun and user-friendly environment based on the practice of Kanban where users can plan and track tasks and projects using familiar elements such as checklists, drag & drop, color-coding, calendaring, social commenting and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring a mobile device or laptop so you can walk away with an account, a sandbox environment where you can practice and get immediate feedback, and even mobile tools you can use to easily stay on top of project status and accountability.
By the end of this 60-minute workshop, you will:
- Create, access and customize your own Trello account
- Navigate the user interface - Boards, Lists, Cards and Checklists
- Engage with interactive elements
- Explore the social side of Trello that helps promote accountability
- Interact with others within a shared board
- Discover the wonder of mobile Trello productivity tools
